Dr. Lynette Jones-Dove served in the United States Army Reserves for eight years and has been in the dental profession for almost fifteen years. Initially she started her dental career as a dental assistant, then a registered dental hygienist, and later went back to school to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Howard University.

She then completed a one year general practice residency at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Washington DC. In 2006 she was selected to become the new practice owner of the Dental Center in College Park. Dr. Jones-Dove continues to stay educated in the latest technologies and studies in Dentistry.

She has completed courses in Cerec 3D, Invisalign, Lumineers and currently participates in advance hands-on courses at the Scottsdale Center of Advance Dentistry with the Spear Institute.

Dentistry is not the only thing that Dr. Jones-Dove is passionate about. She enjoys educating young children about the importance of self confidence, self improvement and diligence in everything they do. She volunteers in several Prince Georges County elementary schools for their career days, participates in numerous health fairs and educates nursing home care givers about geriatric and preventive dentistry. For her private practice patients she and her staff volunteer at their self sponsored Parentís Night-Out and Home Helpers community service events.

To better serve the surrounding College Park community and the Maryland county where her dental practice is located, Dr. Jones-Dove believes that if each one would do what they can to help others then together we will make our county a greater place to live.

Dr. Lynette Jones-Dove was born in Cheverly, Maryland and has lived in Prince George’s County all of her life. She is the wife of Arthur Jones-Dove, the mother of two girls and a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden.
